Enter into this 5-Star rustic cottage and you are immediately met by the stunning kitchen/dining area with a long wooden dining table seating twelve diners, the pine kitchen with a range cooker, "unusual" lighting scheme and striking open tread wooden staircase. This room is seperated from the lounge area by a solid oak stable partition rescued from the original building, which was for stabling the farm carthorses in years gone by, and restored by Gerald and Ros to fit in well with the appearance of this cottage. The lovely warm living area has a woodburner and a "chinked" wall. Whats' a chinked wall? Come and have a look!
Ethel's Escape can be let with Ruby's retreat to accomodate a total of 12 guests.

The three bedroomed cottage sleeps a maximum of six people in complete lavishness. All bedrooms are gorgeous but the most amazing has to be the ground floor bedroom with its saloon style swing doors leading to a Moroccan plastered wet room surrounded by quirky oak beams. The huge four poster bed and free-standing bath complete the effect!
Other bedrooms are an open plan twin bedded room with double shower, the single beds are 3' and will zip together to make a super king. The king post roof trusses with attached lighting complete the effect depicting comfort. The third bedroom with it's chunky rustic bed also features a shapely double ended bath to relax in and a quirky en-suite completes the look.
The stable door leads out onto a granite chip and Indian stoned area for dining outdoors or relaxing in the peace and quiet. Shrubs grow around you to give you privacy.
